Need some help here!

I've been reading the topics on this forum for quite some time now and find everyone smart and interesting. I am a non-college grad with the wits for learning about this stuff. Can somebody give me some advise on books to read. For future references, I am sure that I can keep up with the "lingo" once I get attached to the right books.

I've read over 50 books in my lifetime, and am ready for something extraordinary. For one, the dictionary is my best friend. I have spent the last couple of weeks looking up words on this forum. Now, it is time for me to further my capability for this forum. I could use a list to enable myself to get a feel for this stuff! This will be my last post till I begin reading. I definitely enjoy philosophy, science, and psychology. Anything that is mind blowing.

Thank you.

Thinking is more important than reading, but if you want some mental stimulation try reading anything at the links atop the pages of this board.

Thank you. It may seem that I am the daydreamer type. Are there any books available to people that are preferably in out-of-touch with reality? No. Really. I am a shaoline monk.
