My neck of the Ozark woods is a sort of Shangri La. It is an Eden, but free of the corrupt influence of Religion. We are like Lake Woebegon, Minnesota, the mythical town created by Garrison Keillor, "where the wimmen are strong, the men are good lookin', and all the children are above average."

The Ozark foolhills are a bastion of hope among the woodsheds and trout streams and swing ropes and lemonade. We will weather the storms of global warming and political corruption because our values are stalwart, our DNA is stalwart, and we have Walmart (headquartered in Benson, Ark., where the great library of Arkasandria was founded by the Walton family).

In fact, it is no accident that we are located in Arkansas. This part of the state is the Ark. And we 'kan saw' wood. I and my buddies are constructing a real Ark, now, matter o' fact. Outta semi truck trailers, out in the alleyway between farmers' back forties. I grew up in the forties. Ssh, don't spread the word.

Canada: Traditional epitaphs rest in peace

Traditional epitaphs rest in peace

Alberta-based author Nancy Millar has wandered the country's graveyards and says that over the past 20 years, gravestone epitaphs have begun to illustrate a trend of Canadians wanting to be more than "eternally beloved" when they "rest in peace."

In 1982, I was camped in a graveyard with a treeplanting crew amid thousands of acres of loblolly pine plantations in East Texas. It was the only place to camp. The church had been bought by Georga Pacific, hauled away, along with the whole town. All that was left was the graveyard.

I noted a tombstone: Elizabeth Weaver, born 1859, died 1891. Maxwell Weaver, born 1877 died 1880. Anna Weaver, born 1879 died 1883. Elanore Weaver born 1880, died 1884, Viola Weaver, born 1883, died 1888, James Weaver, born 1886, died 1890. then one newer stone: William Weaver, born 1884, died 1966. Willie remembered where he came from.

Just blew my mind. I had little kids of my own at the time. They were driving their trikes among the tombstones and climbing over them. Any time you think you have it hard, go find an old grave yard. they are just full of little kids.

i have argued quite successfully that the hybridization process wiped out the HNS females, whose pelvis was not as flexible as that of the Homo Sapiens women. Got that clue from an Ozark midwife. Course, archaeologists and paleontologists never speak with midwives.

Tomas: Great links, I will write something that I thought of this latter. Check out this link

Edit: This is also very pertinant and interesting IMO. http://www.valdostamuseum.org/hamsmith/Schumann.html
Just as a tuning fork has natural frequencies for sound,
the planet Earth has natural frequencies,
called Schumann resonances,
for electromagnetic radiation.

The Human Brain also has natural frequencies
for electromagnetic radiation.

It turns out that the Earth's Schumann resonances are
"in tune" with the Human Brains's Alpha States and Theta States.
This is what the Tesla was working with for his "free energy" project. There is a really big missing part/gap in our scientific history, which as I wrote on this forum somewhere before " Only comes out when there is a war" , because military has appropriated all this advanced technology. ie. Used for destruction of humanity and subjugation the other "lesser" races/people.

Jewish Talmud Approves Pedophilia

Jewish Talmud Approves Pedophilia

That most of the Bush queer battalion are Jews is not a surprise. The Jewish Talmud, the rabbis' most holy book, officially endorses pedophile acts by homosexual fiends. The Talmud says that sex with a girl under three years of age, or a minor boy under nine, is permissible. It's not even a "sexual connection," say the rabbis.

Gibbon never mentioned it, but it fits with a pretty consistent pattern of religions having at each other as the diversity of paganism broke down.

You didnt convert to paganism, but were born into whatever cult your family had, so there was no effort to convert outsiders to your view. I know some Roman philosphers admired the monotheism of Judaism, but rejected the traditional Semetic customs. That the Western Jews had a queen is remarkable for a religion that is otherwise all about men.

Had the Jews been smart, they would have translated their scriptures into local languages as Christians later did. Had they then formed a coalition with the Stoics and other philosophical traditions they mite have gotten somewhere. They were getting converts, as the website notes in Africa also, and could have broadened their base.

There is a re-emergence in Europe of local, pagan traditions, as we see in the increasing crowds at neolithic stone circles on ritual occasions. Burning Man is a similar kind of reconstructuralism, and like in Europe, all ritual, but no dogma.

Gibbon noted how the pagan could enter any temple to any god and feel like he was in a sacred space, and deal with that experience reverentially. In sharp contrast to what the Jews, Christians, and Moslems have been showing us. The ongoing archaeological reconstruction of pagan temples is facilitating that neopagan reclamation of spiritual traditions that cant be used to justify violence.

The bar scene yielded similar results, but maybe I’m just too picky. Take Magnus and Jonas: although initially interesting, their appeal quickly wore off when they decided Swedish was a secret language suitable for discussing my friend Anna’s 'attributes' right in front of us. (To be fair, I didn’t exactly volunteer the information that I speak fluent Swedish, but it’s their own fault for making assumptions about the linguistic prowess, or lack thereof, of Americans).
Umm, yea... assumtion is the mother of all fuckups.
