Goo-goo dolls - Iris
Cory seems to be mocking this song.
This is where he and I differ.
This song is powerful.
It has helped me get through some hard nights.
It's a very spiritual song that has supported my quest for enlightenment.
In the same way that training wheels supported my learning to ride a bike - --this song has supported my flowering into enlightenment.
"And I don't want the world to see me, because I don't think that they'd understand, when everythings made to be broken, I just want you to know who I am"

Musicians that copy and imitate other musicians are an interesting study.
For instance: The lead singer of The Tea Party micmics Jim Morrison quite a bit.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m_2cgcPPNA and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlYCK6f-nEY
And Tom Petty micmics Bob Dylan.

There are many others, but I cant think of them all right now. Musical Memes seem to be something that can be passed on.

One of my favorites from childhood. I taped it off the radio and would listen to it repeatedly in the dark.
