Yeah, old Chuck was one of the best.

Never met him but once had dinner (3 tables away) at some restaurant about some 30+ years ago. He was, by what we saw, accomodating with the autograph hounds. Looking back on the 'hindsight rule', I should've mustered the courage to seek one out. Prolly the kids are what the reason I didn't, one of 'em was having a hissy fit .. the wife didn't care for his standalone movies but agreed he had a lovely wife (Jill Ireland - the only woman Star Trek's 'Mr. Spock' ever loved).

Cool. I like him even though he made some pretty bad movies. The French called him the Sacred Monster, at least they did in the seventies, when I read a Harry Crews article about Bronson, in Esquire.

Top actors. Lots of money, not much work.

That's a great scene. Kind of like Israel/Iran.

Jeeze, what a whiner.

Just kidding, though passing along a litany of wrongs is common. Identifying the problem is half the solution, as they say. Discontent is basic and can spur growth if the lecturer's students grow to realize the limitations of elementary bitching.

Impressive that he is riding energy via intellect. He can't get it out fast enough and that is cool. Get it all out now and trust that there will be more for the next session. Right now could be the final session ... a realization that acts like oxygen on that intellectual fire!

I did watch it all though. That energy pulled me right along.

Funny material, good timing, gracious finish with a wise perspective on politics.
