Hello.

As a follower of the videos in youtube, I have found these days the Menoftheinfinite channel and then I got a lot of questions about it.

So, let´s start!

A) What is the "infinite"?
B) Why is this knowledge important?
C) What are your political views and takes on the world?
D) Do you guys want to live forever?
E) If so, what are your views on vegetarianism? I mean, humans live only by consuming animals. Do you agree that this state of affairs will forever be?
F) If so, why do you want to live forever?
G) Do you actually believe that we can be alive, as we are now, after death?
H) I, as a common kid, stayed home last night and watched cartoons or sitcoms while drinking coke, and eating junk food. Or I visited a pornographic website. Or I went out to drink and smoke, and try and get girls and so forth. Question. Do you guys have anything against those behaviors and why?
I) If so, what are better ways of living you could show us, pratically?
J) Do you guys want to form a church or something of the like?

I guess that´s it for now. I´d like to hear some responses to that, but take your time. After those questions I guess I´ll have a better insight of what you mean in the vids.

I'm nominally a socialist, but politics is not something I take a huge interest in as that realm will always be problematic whilst humanity remains so deluded.

D) Do you guys want to live forever?

I could live with that.

E) If so, what are your views on vegetarianism? I mean, humans live only by consuming animals. Do you agree that this state of affairs will forever be?

I'm not a veggie. I don't think there's any sustainable argument for it, really. But, there may come a time when there are economic/environmental concerns that make it necessary. I'll live with it if that happens, as long as I don't have to eat too much celery.

Why not? I'm easy either way, really.

No. By definition that's impossible (by the meaning of "death").

That's a rather large question. The real question would be what you gain from them and why you require that gain.

I would say thinking about things, but that's a question of what you value.

Do you think resorting to name calling is a mature thing to do? btw, there is no logical explanation to justify a belief in creationism. I have three words for you: Fossils and Carbon dating. Creationism is disproved so easily with evidence from fossils and carbon dating. Pick up a biology book sometime, and burn that old dusty bible because the thing is irrelevant. All religious texts should be burned actually, such an assault on reason.

Creationists who get their beliefs through religion always deny the actual age of the earth, and they deny that human beings came into being through some natural gradual process on the planet, despite all fossil evidence, and our obvious genetic link to higher mammals such as apes.

They usually invoke theories of supernatural intervention, which isn't logical.

@ Ryan, to somebody who values evidence it wouldn't seem logical. I know that's what u mean, but it's only 'not-logical' in light of being open minded to the evidence you're talking about

i'd word it as 'which is evidence that people don't care about evidence' as I doubt people who belief in creationism has never been somewhat exposed to contrary evidence.





I think people make up supernatural interventions because to 'animals', it's an easy solution, and because people don't really have minds strong enough to investigate, so it's pretty easy to settle down in that belief.

It's just whatever the majority seems to think. So in denmark people belief in evolution but don't really know what it is. That's how i percieve things, atleast.

I think that's true in the United States too. I've actually studied it, so that's why I believe in it, but I don't think that's always the case.

I agree with that too. People should explore all possibilities. I have also explored the creationist/id "arguments". There's no way to prove them because it's a belief system; there is no evidence. It would be akin to trying to prove God's existence.

Most importantly the question of wether you belief in creationism goes back to whether or not you understand cause & effect. To see that all things happen through 'natural selection' . that is, by its conditions. but obviously, theres the question of evidence too.

For example though, if like a polar bear has no place to stand on because all the ice melts, it will eventually die in the water.
People that havn't thought about cause and effect can't wrap their heads around evolution's fundemental nature, which means not only do likely make mistakes when talking about evolution, they also make mistakes in every other aspect of their lives.

My own biology teacher himself knows evolution, but not cause and effect. Everything is a huge grid of catagories with him and it means he's not used to seeing cause and effect everywhere.

So, ordinary people (people who are oblivious to cause and effect) thereby misunderstand evolution & how everything works the same way.
Even those trained in evolution fail to understand it properly. Whether anybody belongs to creationism or evolution is completely irrelevant if they don't understand cause and effect - we don't need to worry about either 2's opinion.

'Where did everything come from?'.
Since the universe IS everything it isn't caused by anything. Which almost everybody seems to "forget".
And theres many other very stupid ways that the creationists weave their little 'arguments' together, they care little about their own logic, but expect others to take them serious :)
