How does one go about "proving" one isn't a racist?

How does one go about "proving" one isn't a racist?

It strikes me that being accused of racism is one of the worst things a non-racist has to deal with.

I'm going to move this over to "Worldly Matters".

Short answer, most people that throw out the "racist" card are too ignorant to have a rational discussion with in the first place.

I agree. It's stigmatization to rally the mob rather than a claim to be proven false. There is nothing rational with which to argue. The question is akin to asking how to prove to a tiger that you are not food.

A gentlemanly debate can only take place between gentlemen who have a sense of fair play. Your opponent must have capacity to understand the argument and integrity to concede points fairly. That is the meaning of the phrase "Don't throw pearls before swine." When swine are out of ammo, they will throw mud.
