WAR HURTS!

Post by Foresta-Gump » Wed Sep 21, 2005 3:22 pm

To aim a weapon with intent to KILL
Massacre billions their guts they'll spill
Rulers in their mighty seats, they need ruling too
To kill instead of compromise, its stink is showing through

Has man not developed from his childish aim to fight?
Mass destruction, nuclear war, is aimed to kill man's might
All these rulers and foolish men, to follow to destroy
Should be replaced with peacekeepers, thoughts we should employ

Anger begets anger, hatred screams it's vile
Innocent people should be exempt from this lowlife guile
A target of satanic rot, their lives are rocked by fear
Shocked by words of destruct, detrimental to the ear

Bloodied war, nuclear dust, man is killing man
We're heading for extinction, rarity if you can
A world-wide doom upon us, rears it's ugly head
We'll pretend our eyes are closed, think positive instead

Like the rest of the universe, the human moral code is one of destruction, for only be destroying can the growth of a particular temporary dominant pattern occur.

War is nothing to worry about - BUT that which can destroy us all is another matter. All efforts should be towards making those who are mentally immature - such as anyone involved in any religion is - weak, by the exercise of power against them.

Of course when one exercises any power it provides the opportunity for that power to be transfererred to the other party. therfore if the western world allows countries of mental immaturity, such as Nth korea or Iran obtain nukes, then quite frankly we deserve to die as a result of our own stupidity.

"From too much love of living,
From hope and fear set free,
We thank with brief thanksgiving
Whatever gods may be
That no life lives forever;
That dead men rise up never;
That even the weariest river
Winds somewhere safe to sea."

Maybe such thing already happened long time ago, and when the ones with Ultimate Destructive power looked upon the earth and saw the immaturity and irrationality that was beyond salvaging, they decided to destroy it all and hoped for a new start for the few survivors. That measure could seem preferable to giving those 'immature' ones the means to wipe out all living things, and destroy hope all together.

Iranian politics make these days more sense to me than the complete irrationality of Western politics. If I was an Islamist of some kind I'd consider emigrating to that place. Unfortunately their relative sanity can only exist in a singular closed society where I won't fit. But I wouldn't object to a world dominated by Islamic and Sinic civilisations, if ours would collapse from moral bankruptcy. I don't see how the West is superior in any way to weild the ultimate power. We only seem to burn ourselves with it.

Some lyrics I came across today from a Nordic Heavy Metal band called Spiral Architect. Worth reading

8. Adaptability

Words, all words worth nothing with you
Mistaken meaning, a constantly spreading,
dreaded dark disease
Truth itself untrue to those who stop to think
Fluently fluid, subjectively in sync

Central ego, orbital estranged reality
The remainder of a dream enter the dead

Linguistic obstacles abort
The thoughts behind
distort all which was once clear like purest air

Knotted tongues tied up by missing, mocking syllables
Lacklustre soliloquies performed in
solipsism's shrines of shallow sentiments
Look at my words, nothing besides remains
All the wisdom, all our colossal thoughts
Boundless but blind the grand idea astray
No universal thought-patterns will apply
Intentions abused and lost along the way

Always in motion
Circling a notion (of fixed unchangeability)
Truth itself untrue to those who stop to think
Fluently fluid, subjectively in sync

Central ego, orbital estranged reality
The remainder of a dream enter the dead

9. Fountainhead

Crave for no more, nor the self that would
Not even that which always is there
Needy of naught, but to be constrained
From any care and want of a selfish urge

What is needed save strengthened will of man
Fulfilment of all that is latent within
What is to fear, what do they hate?
How can they even bear to look at themselves
Those who love to crawl?

Near breaking point
From the bows you've made
Towards the constructed
Deity's power

Reverence due,
not to unseen mights
nor lack of clarity,
but to the well-known, familiar
ever present miracle of the

I, Fountainhead of... progress

How can anyone with serious integrity
abandon all that's left for me
and still be free to seek what's real?
Where's the logic thought,
the one thing that should be guide our way
throughout this solitary state that we call life?

Where's the I, Fountainhead of progress?

7. Conjuring Collapse

Conclude with error, idiosycratic deeds
Synthetic habitat
Comprehension. Consciousness. All senses are astray
Infected selfish greed

Unpleasant frame of mind,
reflections of what's behind
Wisdom breeds fragile minds

Wake from his fantasy. Fear mendacious empathy
Ecstatic biased sphere
We are the plaintive race, constructors of predestined decay
A paragon fails

Force of fiction, faking formula of faith
A chameleon with words
Uncertain factors feed a mind so crystal clear
When will this circle end?

Mankind falls from what it breeds
Cast reflections on it's ego's path
Altered minds in altered settings, twisted mind
Collapse into intensity, understand the face of man

Everlasting hunt for truth,
blinded by different views
See through obstructive haze,
and cleanse the human race!
Mankind falls from what it breeds
Conjuring collapse with this ego's path
Altered minds in altered settings made by man
Collapse into intensity. Aftermath of thinking man

3. Moving Spirit

Shallow minds tighten the grip
Killing the last of the poets
He fell down to his knees
And drowned in the cold concrete flow

I long for what's untouched by man
I will dismiss answers based on nothing-ground
I forge dreams to uncoil

I long for what's untouched by man
I even seek answers where they may not be found
I roam these virgin soils

Atlas shrugged, I could feel
Clouds fell from the mourning sky
They're closing all too soon
All too soon

Leaders of crowds turned stale, unfit to move
Pathetic freaks endorse dream deceivers
Antique festered minds
Reduced to mock desire

Those who create should not corrupt their voice
Hyped is the feeble imitator
Seek and you will find
Beauty to be denied

Bleeding moving spirit
Man bleed the moving spirit dry
Bleed the moving spirit
Man, they bleed the moving spirit... dry

2. Excessit

Lost in an orbit ride,
climb onto your highest mountain,
find the fountain
Wandering through shadows, on and on
Climb on higher find the fountain

Fall into spirals of condemnation
And sacrifice your past to the fountain
Know not how to get away from yourself

Riding through the path of totality surfing hypersonic jets
Equation of time

Tracking golden spirals, contained within primordial seeds
Reincarnation of your self

Fall into overdrive,
climb onto your highest mountain,
find the fountain
Wandering through shadows, on and on in despair

Your death shroud enters your mind,
disguised as virginity
Trapped in perverted rites

Young child's subverted mind
Sheds its atmosphere
Modus in rebus est

1. Spinning

Inner sense lost in a stream
Another day faking control
Alone, still living an introspective lie
Cut adrift, in constant motion
Roaming never ending oceans

Bleeding poets cry, hands to the sky
Their quest was one of futility
I know man's lost in cosmic settings of coincidence
Just spinning, twisting, circling on...

Manipulate my mind, I don't mind
the kind of lie to subdivide, petrify, dehumanize

Manipulate your mind, would you mind
the kind of lie to subdivide, petrify, dehumanize

I will deny, I still deny, I will deny all
These truths were all yours
I refused them as mine

Manipulate my mind, I don't mind
the kind of lie to subdivide, petrify, dehumanize

Man manipulates man's mind
Should they mind the kind of lie
to subdivide, petrify, dehumanize

Spinning, twisting, circling on

Music is kind of a separate issue from poetry so I give this thing that much benefit of the doubt.

However, apart from putting lyrics to music, what is the point? Mainly, what is the point of posting these lyrics here?

Rather than hiding behind words arranged in a particular fashion, why not simply say what you mean?

If you think war stinks, say so and say so in your own words.

Please.

I partially agree with Jamesh except that I will put it into somewhat plainer language.

I used to think differently but on the whole, human beings are pigs. Damn shame because there is so much beauty in nature or in the beauty of the earth. But, for whatever reason, that's the way the cookie crumbles. It is very difficult to find beauty in the actions of human beings. I certainly do not hate humanoids, in case someone might suspect that. I have great sympathy for them. Just very weary of investing hope in them. Certainly not worth writing poetry about -- more than casting pearls before swine.

I thank God that I am nearing old age -- only seven more years to go to sixty! My kids are nearly grown. I may have a few years left to devote completely to the study of flora. If I am fortunate enough, I may drop dead in the garden that I am building; with all my guilt; knowledge of my own personal transgressions; failings; pig-nature; mental manure.

If it could be my will, my body could rot there without preservatives, serving no better purpose than to fertilize the earth; returning not to the God of Man; not to any pretense of Heaven nor any hope of life. Just die.

Just die.

I have no false belief in the salvation of Christ. No false belief in God. No false belief in science.

The greatest comfort I can imagine is knowledge that the body I inhabit will return to the earth. Not by my will but by natural will.

Dust is the greatest contribution that any human being or other being can make.

Marsha

Wouldn't it be fucking hilariously funny if the angels grabbed you when you went upstairs and whispered in your ear

"You didn't think it would be like this did you?"

Please post here if that happens...........

It's good advice to remember that always - it will get you out of trouble plenty of times.

The root cause of problems is thinking people are a lot more than they are.

Yeah Dan why not just remove her from the board instead of creating thread for her. I guess because she just comes back with a new identity.

I really believe you need to get rid of folks like her, Unknown and perhaps even Sevens. any potential spititual genius who visits this site from some link, and reads their crap would just get turned off. I'm not saying they don't have reasonable ideas every now and then, but there is no way I'd return to this forum, if I didn't know it's history when their posts are at the top of forum topic lists.

Piss them off. You got rid of suergaz, who was a lot more more spiritualy connected than these people.

You are never going to get pass on any real sense to these people , so why put up with them. At least you could expalin why you allow them to stay. It is almost like you feel sorry for them, which would be pathetic in itslef.

I reckon it would be hilariously funny if angels grabbed me on the way upstairs.

When I was about two years old, I believed in fairies, too.

Took me about fifty years to catch on to the fib.

I got a firm handle on reality now.
