I Love Myself

As I should love myself I do!

Although a recluse I am, beginning from early childhood, my reclusive behavior was more then, than it is today. Since 2002, I have mostly come out of my reclusive shell, but still I prefer to spend my time confining myself to my writing, away from people.

For someone who claims to not care for writing elsewhere .. why are you starting ten threads a month, here?

PS - I'd be easier to get a handle what you are going on about if you'd confine your writing to one thread.

It leaves one with the gut feeling you are scatter-brained :-/

Mensa says: Tomas, what are you talking about? I don't believe for a second that I said I don't care for writing elsewhere, I write to different places including CTV.ca regularly as a commentary writer. I write to Canada's Governor General where they've archived my work, I write to magazine editors familiarizing myself with their work. I do this on a regular basis. I write here because I am at my highest and most imaginable intellect. It sounds like you're complaining about me Tomas, what's your problem? Would you like to see me leave and never return?

Mensa says: It seems to me when people aren't satisfied with what I've written, they start yapping to get a rise out of me, they're just trying to see if I'll respond negatively, so they can have an excuse to ban me.

PS - I'd be easier to get a handle what you are going on about if you'd confine your writing to one thread.

Mensa says: Like what you've done that has accumulated umpteen thousand views, that idea of yours is a pretty good one Tomas. You think I should do that too--confine my writing to one thread?

It leaves one with the gut feeling you are scatter-brained :-/
Mensa says: Scatter-brained I'm not, imaginative I am!

There's nothing dirty about my imagination, to bad you couldn't say the same thing about yours.

Your post "Fucking" is inappropriate and lacks intelligence.

Now lets remember who slung the first dirt. It's your crap that should be weeded. "A skunk smells it's own stink first" But, in your case you didn't smell the stink, but everybody else did, which clearly indicates very poor judgement of your post "Fucking"

Oh....yeah...THE NAME GAME is much more appropriate. You are delusional if you think your choice of words and subject matter is above reproach.
Your promoting illegal drug use dosn't register with the image your trying to paint of yourself here either (little miss perfectly pure & holier than thou )

You sound like your out of control, angry and frustrated. The Governor of California Arnold Schwartzenegger, must be promoting "illegal drugs", as you put it. He states that "no one cares if someone smokes a joint" I guess you don't keep up on the news. Marijuana will likely become decriminalized. So your comments mean nothing to me.

Your right...I am angry...and I've been keeping these feelings locked up inside of me for a long time (about your rediculous threads). I feel sorry for Dan and Quinn that they put up with all the BS here (yeah...including myself). Honestly Donna....do you really think you have something of value to offer here ? Most of your posts you tend to preach at highly intelligent people as if they were children. You seem to be very lonely and crave for attension. I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings....I am basically a nice person...but sometimes I get angry when I see stupidity and injuctice. I truely feel sorry for Dan & Quinn that their kindness and compassion has been overextended to people here (yes myself included)...that are only here to have fun or get attension. If this was my form only sincere people interested in philosophy and the truth would be allowed to post/participate & express their views. You seem to only want to preach here.

and I'm truely sorry for being so blunt and hurtful. All that I say to you can be said about me too. I came here more to have fun...and also learn...and yes to get attension. We are only human. Please forgive me if I have hurt you with how I see the truth of this matter. Please forgive me Donna. I will shut up now....and confess my sins of being so harsh and unkind. I am sorry. You are my sister. Sometimes I argue with my sisters....and then we make up & forgive each other....I am crying as I type this. Forgive me ...please. I am so stupid.

With Love,

Kunga

Mensa says: Ok, lets forget this foolish nonsense. But, for the record, I believe people know I contribute intelligent posts here sometimes, not all the time, but then I've seen others writing foolish posts here too. So stop using me as an escape goat to shit on. I believe the reason some don't bother to respond is because they agree with what I say.

As for David, Dan, and Kevin, they've come to expect this nonsense because it is only human to air one's dirty laundry from time to time. Do you think these guys are exempt from being foolish themselves occasionally? Sometimes it takes a human explosion to clear the air.

It seems to me Kunga that you're trying your damdest to impress these three fellows, why? It seems like you put them on a pedestal to cherish them? Sure they're highly intelligent men to even think to form a GENIUS forum which tells me they are all confident men, but they are still human, and they can flaw too!

Oh, and Kunga, don't worry about hurting my feelings, I don't hurt very easily. I can handle my own.

That's funny...because if I was trying to impress them I would be more mindful and intelligent in response to these threads. Instead I say what's at the top of my head in the moment...without much thought. I have come to realize there are horrible websites on the internet with hate-filled agendas...and although I am not totally in agreement with the QRS philosophy I see that they are basically moral and humane in comparison.

I also have come to realize that it's not an easy job running a website, and the headaches it must be, dealing with so many types of personalities.
I feel remorse as to some of the comments I have made in the past to David. And during the silence (their absence here), I've come to see how tolerant they've been with many members here....myself included.

I have a new-found respect to the thinkers here...that have spent most of their lives in pursuit of the Ultimate Truth, and have studied the immense writings of various philosophers. They have seriously studied and contemplated all they speak about....and as Cousinbasil said : "They run a class-act here." I agree.

I think we should try our best to participate intelligently in these discussions....or at least realize we are guests here and act like responsible adults, instead of childish attension seekers.

PS - I'd be easier to get a handle what you are going on about if you'd confine your writing to one thread.

-Mensa says-

-tomas now-
Researching some past threads of yours reveal that on:

Page 1 .. Mensa started 25 threads, 10 of which have no responses

Page 2 .. Mensa started 14 threads, 6 of which have no responses

Page 3 .. Mensa started 13 threads, 6 of which have no responses

In the end, it is your life however your readship views would go up if you'd confine your writing to a few select threads.

My way is to have threads as 'Killing non-Jews'

Or, confining Elizabeth's thread to 'Police State'

'Music Poetry'

blah blah so on and so forth

More yap yap

A couple nuances about Richard Rorty.

Now, where was my train of thoughtttttttttt

And it doesn't matter what era you live in, if someone is beating you, you call the cops. If the cops don't do anything, you wait till they fall asleep and kill them. It has nothing to do with good habits.

Mensa says: I think you should try your best to participate intelligently in these discussions. I've already succeeded. I stick in Worldly Matters where anything goes, I only post in Genius forum when I've got something genius to discuss in which I do on occassion.

As for others responding, if only one person responds to my posts than I know that my words are not in vain. If people didn't like what I've written they wouldn't bother viewing my work, but it appears I do get plenty of views. I've noticed you and Tomas don't get many responses either, so why do you mention it anyway, what's your silly point?

Mensa says: You should speak only for yourself, as you can't speak for others.

Mensa says: I cannot waste the time and energy of others, they can only waste their own time and energy. They decide if they wish to read my posts.

BTW Kunga, did you go to college, somehow I doubt it, but I did!
When I mentioned I'd welcome anyone to educate me, I meant on just the facts, not mere opinion!

You're good for practicing patience & compassion on. Unfortunately I don't have the patience of a saint or the compassion of a Buddha.
