I Thank and Welcome Anyone Who Cares Enough To Educate Me...

But, please do so with a positive approach vs. a negative one. I only want to be educated on the facts--Thank you for your time.

Invitation to a forum

Mensa says: I said that remark from a feeling of being insulted by Kelly, I became indignant and felt the need to remind people.

Mensa says: Thanks for the link to the other forum Tomas, I've been contemplating going to another forum lately, so the timing seems right. It must be in the wavelengths.
I did look into one area of this forum, but I didn't actually observe any discussions going on. But, thanks I will do that. I seek Genius in the forum not just mediocre-minded opinion. I spend alot of time reading posts in Genius forum, I only answer when I know I have the answer. Genius forum would like to see me present logical argument in my posts or any posts. I can do that easily if I feel like it.

Thanks again for the link Tomas

I do understand :-) - Part of the reason why I suggested that other forum as Kelly was banned from it. She was recently offered to come back, but she declined (for her own reasons not publicly stated).

As with all internet forums, there is good, bad and downright ugly aspects out there. What Nat ('Naturyl' is the admin.) offers is help at the beginning, it's not like here where people jump out and attack from the first post. The population was quite different when you and I first started posting back at genius-l at topica (the good old days somewhere around 2002-2003).

Nat and Robert were banned from Genius Forums some time back .. although Nat has always been one of my "faves", if one could call it that. Politics is local, you know?

There are a few others over there you may recognize but that's a different local political scene over there.

mensa says: Tomas, I remember those days, you were here a short time before I was. I came to genius-l in 2003. Boy, oh boy we both got treated like we were some kind of criminals. But, we both hung in there Tommy man. When I found this place I knew I found home, my home of education. You know Tomas, I always wanted to obtain my university degree, but never did. It's to late now, I've lost my drive for a university education. I think to much education drives people to confusion. Educated people think to much which I believe can be a temporary detriment in that confusion gets in the way.

mensa says: Thanks for letting me know that Kelly was banned from that place but asked to come back, that tells me two things, that Kelly is indeed a real woman and not a robot that I previously thought, and that she is appreciated by others. Poor Kelly, she must have become indignant and totally insulted by her release, I know I was when I was banned from this place.

mensa says: Kelly is definately an interesting woman, some of her posts don't make sense to me, but most of them do. I think she did the right thing by not going back.

Tomas,

Robert recently sent a couple of emails inviting me to participate in some KIR thread on Weininger, but by his description, I realised it was pointless. It was obviously an excuse for him to entertain himself through close-minded mockery. There wasn't an ounce of sincerity in his message, so I didn't waste my time replying.

There is a certain kind of indignity in getting involved with that crew. I'm not insulted by them. I just can't be bothered.

I was under the impression you had a degree by your comment to me asking if I was educated.
