I stopped watching after the Tom Baker series. Either it or I went downhill from there.

The Goodies were better.

Goodies sucked, it seemed like random brain-frying bs to me as a kid, and it was ugly as hell too(I feel almost nauseous looking at the pictures on Google Images now.) Monkey Magic was better than The Goodies. Tom Baker was the only Doctor Who I watched.

As a boy, classic Doctor Who used to scare the shit out of me, esp. the theme & in general it was too weird & alienating, even my friends felt the same. I cant stand the new series, it's too multiculty now but the Tom Baker & Peter Davison episodes were ok watching them in my late 20s on a big screen tv on marijuana with some ecstasy &/or shrooms, great if you like theatrical television, bad effects & over-acting. But sober? No way!
