Has anybody ever responded to you in a negative or aggressive manner due to your intellectual behavior?

In no particular order:

1. religious fanatics (aggressive)

2. mainstream politicians (negative and aggressive)

3. a couple of my children (aggressive in their early years)

4. an occasional drunk in a bar (negative)

5. when preparing a speech, the mirror sometimes responds to revisions (both - but only when I talk back)

6. my conscience (negative and aggressive)

7. plethora of other instances in another posting

PS - define behavior..

By behavior I mean countenance, the way you generally act.

No, I rarely get a negative or aggressive reaction because I'm a very friendly and empathic person. You could say lovable.

Sure. When one has high intelligence with good looks to boot, the would-be (male/female) stranger will cast a dim view on any reply. Whether that is by their design one can never know unless one asks. But I see it as just a passerby not worth replying to. Just let it go because I'm not always in a good mood and the reciprocal answer may not suit them anyways.
