Donate, new option

Post by mansman »

Hi, more than one question for more than one person.
Owners, has anyone donated yet using Paypal, what donor information does Paypal share with you or will you be able to see, what does it look like can you post the actual page(s) you see/receive (just change actual personal info) or send to my email if no one else cares. Or, does the money alone just blop into GF, no source informaton?
People are going to want to make anonymous contributions, especially the disagreers.
Will we be able to see the pot grow?
Can donors specify use or who-to? Where and how.
Is any money already earmarked, for what project, purpose?

Has a new personal or particular financial crisis precipitated Donate button?
Besides printing words on paper and all that, are there any other great ideas about how money could be better used to promote wisdom.

After some thought i reckon it would be best if Kevin Solway responded.

Any thoughts from past, future donors?

Any one see potential problems arising?

Thanks
M

The donations go to help Kevin maintain his domain and keep this place viable. Neither I nor David ever have any idea who does or does not donate (other than if they state it on the board itself).

You dont think thats an adequate response, do you.
Ever have any idea?? but the thing just started no experience yet.
Nevertheless as is you or another surely could find out easy enough i reckon.
Y'all not being fair.
What is this Paypal, must one have a paypal account?

?How much have you got this month so far from members, dont we have a right to know, its the decent thing to do you know.
What happened to Kevin Solway.

Yes, I do. There's nothing else to be said or that I can tell you.

What on earth are you talking about?

I suppose I could write to Kevin and ask, but the reason I don't is that I don't give a flying shit who donates. People who believe in forums like this and are willing and able to donate, may choose to do so. I don't care who does and who doesn't.
Y'all not being fair.
Y'all being bizarre.

I believe so; it's simply one of the easiest way for international monetary transactions over the Internet to be done. It's become one of the most common. But I'm sure if you wanted to just send Kev a donation in another way he'd gladly give you the means to do so.

I have exactly no idea. What part of what I originally said went over your head? And why do you think it's your business to know how much other people have donated? What right do you suppose you have to such information? If you can adequately answer those questions Kevin may offer a response.

Right, and with this you expect to be taken seriously? Truth is he's holidaying in Acapulco, gleefully spending donations.
