Probably.
Well, I guess it's time to add another link.
Infant Protection and Wander Prevention?
It's strange how every time a company uses the word "security" I feel less secure. The word "trust", when used by a business, also makes me suspicious.

the "asset tracking" and "tool and equipment management" are more telling.Trevor Salyzyn wrote:Infant Protection and Wander Prevention?

brad,
The asset tracking and tool and equipment management reveal that the prime motive behind this is presently economic. The people who are accepting this technology aren't even looking at the human factor, except in the abstract sectors of "protection and prevention", which are catch-all phrases used to stop all potential activities before they start.
This technology is where the line should be drawn between capitalism and socialism. It is a real, practical example of valuing capital over society.
It's all pretty shifty. "Infant Protection" is a fancy way of saying "we want to implant this shit at birth". "Wander Prevention" is heavy Big Brother speak. I like wandering!the "asset tracking" and "tool and equipment management" are more telling.

Didn't they first try this out on house pets. It's currently going on, but I've heard they were having problems, where animals would start to develop cancer because of it.
