That's good - thank you. It is difficult to keep track of which candidate believes in what, or even (at this stage) who is running other than the media's favorites.

I get Ron Paul at the very top. Hard to believe, since he is a Republican, and I pretty much hate Republicans.

I also got Ron Paul first, all my answers matched his. I've read up on him a bit, he's by far the best candidate IMO. I think most smart people will get him first, he is very intelligent and principled, whereas the other candidates just want to preserve the status quo. Although he's republican, he is first and foremost a Libertarian. A few minor flaws, such as his anti-abortion stance, but overall he is a dream candidate.

I'll be voting for Paul in the primary because I think the Republican party needs to be reformed, but I'll definitely be voting for a Democrat in the election. I think Kucinich is actually a lot better than Paul, but I don't think he has a chance of winning.

Shahrazad: He's one of the last remaining true conservatives remaining in the Republican party--he is for limited government and always votes according to the Constitution.
The Republican Party, as it stands today, is an offence to the principles it was founded upon--most people have never known a true Republican.

Nevermind the "nyynnynyy" answers. I say "nyah nyah" to the whole gallery of fools; they should all be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

There's no way at all I would ever trust a Republican.
The test is not a good indication of who I could vote for anyhow, since most of the questions are about issues I don't care about much.

The ranking isn't necessarily weighted the way you might want. For example, Ron Paul came up at the top of mine as well, but he said no on increasing efforts to combat global warming - which is a biggie on my priority list; then again, it looks like he's the only one saying no to more spending on foreign aid - which is another big one to me. Number 5 was an unfair combination question, so IMO that should be thrown out (I think lawsuits should be less common, but not capped - so neither pure yes nor pure no worked).
Look at the individual answers. I know that cramming all those ys and ns together like that makes it hard to read, but it's important.

Yeah, the survey is not very detailed and a lot of important questions are not included. However, I see its purpose as getting people to think a bit.
Interesting--why couldn't you ever trust a Republican?
