Re: Question: why do animals have tails and not humans?
According to taoist tradition, that tail on the animal is used for channeling energy from the earth out of the body, as it's brain would not be able to handle earth energy. Humans, on the other hand, can handle earth's energy traveling into the brain, as a good old fashioned kundalini awakening will show.Anti-christ wrote:sorry! but this is a tricky one. anyone care to elaborate?

Re: Question: why do animals have tails and not humans?
For what purpose would we need a tail?
Blood's gotta go into it, and it takes energy to keep it around.
Evolution has a way of getting rid of those things which cost more energy than they are worth.

That's fodder for a really bad joke.Rory wrote:For what purpose would we need a tail?

Actually, really, why do you hang around here?
Tails
I'm no zoologist, but I'm pretty sure that humans are not the only animals that don't have tails.

Let me take a stab at the question.
The tail is purely functional, most mammals use their tails for climbing. So as our distant hominid ancestors begun to stand upright and spend most of their time on the ground there would no longer be a need for a tail so over thousands of years it would be lost.

10 rounds? 15 rounds? Or is it infinite like the "What is death?" thread? :)Elizabeth Isabelle wrote:Ryan Rudolph wrote:“if you don’t use it, you lose itâ€kowtaaia wrote: That's fodder for a really bad joke.round three...kowtaaia wrote:It's probably not what you think, you pervert! :)beebuddy wrote:Ah jeezus, that WOULD be a bad joke!

Aha! So infinity can have a begining but no end! ;)kowtaaia wrote: 10 rounds? 15 rounds? Or is it infinite like the "What is death?" thread? :)

Very good! The word also means "without fixed or specified limit". That doesn't take anything away from your brilliant response, though. :)Elizabeth Isabelle wrote:Aha!
