I sleep with a mirror, I wonder if that counts.

I wonder if it would count if you slept with your clone.

Imagine if Dick & Laura Petry were pictured as sleeping in the same bed. The single beds fit the bill for that era.

The Dick Van Dyke Show, that is.

TV Land would have turned out a whole lot differently...

Sounds like a crock to me. I fail to grasp the point of such a stupid study.

Personally, I like sleeping alone just as I like doing everything alone. But I really find it hard to believe that a man sleeping alone does better on cognitive tests than a man who sleeps with a partner -- partner, not necessarily a woman.

My guess is that the so called results are more revealing of the tests than they are of the subjects.

What about people who sleep en masse? There are cultures in which large numbers of people sleep in close quarters. Does sleeping with large numbers of people increase stupidity or is the loss of cognitive ability only related to sleeping with one's sexual partner?

What about people in the army? In the army, you often sleep in mass groups. Does that make you stupid? If soldiers do not sleep en masse, are they less likely to destroy each other through friendly fire mishaps?

I have something extraordinarily profound to say:

We ALL sleep alone. Only some more alone than others.
