Cats are male and female, like all animals.

Obviously, the bear was extremely frightened. That is how the cat chased him up a tree.

The bear was out of his element and anything would have frightened him.

It just proves that cats kick ass. Especially orange ones. Most people assume cats are feminine. There are probably threads here at this shrine of heroic masculinity badmouthing cats for being pussies. But they are not.
