Celbrity Cock and Bull

Here is a question that occurred to me...

You have a friend. He got divorced and it was messy. You hear that his ex is having a baby with a mutual friend of theirs. Would you grill him on their love life and new baby?

No, most likely you'd realize it would be a touchy issue and that you should leave the past in the past.

So, why do this idiots in the scandalmongering Hollyweird press imagine that it is just perfectly fine to ask Jennifer Anniston about he ex's baby with A. Jolie???

Even worse, whey should anyone in the general public give a crap??

Do any of you here give a crap about the personal life of any "celebrity"?

It's what women like, and, as always, society constantly bends over backwards to give whatever it is that women want.

I suppose that depends on which sort of 'celebrity' they are.

Cato,

Lately I've been thinking about this, too. If I were a celebrity, I don't know if I'd choose to stay in the spotlight. The money is so great for them, though, that I'm sure they're willing to sacrifice their privacy for it.

If everyone had a bit more awareness of what they were doing, I'm sure they'd see how disgusting this is. It's horrible behavior. Anyone who watches, reads and listens to this type of stuff is definitely boring in my eyes. It shows they don't have enough of a life to live of their own, so they need to live other's lives.

Celebrities must be so selfless as to give their own lives for the sake of others!

I am so happy this subject was brought up here.

I do not care that Angelina and Brad have had a baby. I had a couple of babies myself some time back.

I don't care what Jennifer thinks.

The lives of celebrities are up for sale always. They sell themselves.

Called business.

I put this empty celebrity worship on the same level as the hero worship for sports players.

I despise interviews with these vapid, nitwits. But nothing, I mean no thing, is worse than listening to the empty headed sports casters themselves!

Because that is what men like - they like to please women. Masculinity is no better than femininity as a role model - except of course when one conceptually limits it to only positive masculine atteributes, as you guys have decided to do.
