Didn't Adam and Eve have a Childhood?

The Bible says Eve was created from Adams rib
so were they adults or children? If they were created
as adults, how could they understand children?

Is death the end of humanity, were we accidently created, were
we created deliberately, what's our purpose, who the heck knows,
no one!

There were no Adam and Eve as described by bible fairy tales, probably just a small group of African hominids that mutated slightly giving them an advantage over other communities of hominids. One theory out there is that it would have been a mutation that increased the size of the neocortex, leading to rudimentary language and therefore a higher complexity of communication during hunting. Such an abrupt change would have been the birth of "Adam and Eve" so to speak, but it would have been a larger community of African hominids, not just two.

Our purpose is to increase of level of rationality and understanding.

The Adam and Eve story is an allegory about childhood, when (possibly arbitrary) rules of right and wrong are learned through punishment from a parent (God the Father).
