Seeking a Correspondent

Post by Benjamin »

Hello, my name is Benjamin and I am in need of an intellectual correspondent. I am deeply entrenched in brilliance and have gradually disconnected from most normal schemes of human interaction. I work on art and writing morning ‘till night, and though the process is gratifying, it is isolated. My swollen imagination is a spectacle of spectacular gorgeousness, and I wish to alleviate its bloat by sharing portions with others.
Any takers will be subjected to my trademarked rants and imagery in exchange for their intelligent commentary and replies. Communication can occur either by email or mail, but I am in the midst of a move, so snail mail (my interaction of choice) will be impossible for a few weeks more. I sincerely hope that this forum, supposedly crafted for geniuses, is ripe with them. Not to be a being of arrogant personage my astute attention can be expected regarding any material correspondents choose to share with me.
If the tier is reached where imagery is sent via snail mail, I expect that shipping and detailed opinion is included in the return letter… a moot payment in exchange for the print. Also be aware that I am bold and relentless, and the word “trademarked” is sincere – so don’t get any funny ideas with my prints! I hope that didn’t sound imposing, but one must guard themselves these days. If you’re interested in corresponding with me just ask here.

Holy moley. Let's get it on!

I am deeply entrenched in brilliance

-tomas-
Dig a little deeper, you've a ways further to go, pal.

-pajama-
and have gradually disconnected from most normal schemes of human interaction.

-tomas-
Haven't we all... sleepin' and a dreamin' with human zoo-aw-logy.

-pajama-
I work on art and writing morning ‘till night, and though the process is gratifying, it is isolated.

-tomas-
How original.

-pajama-
My swollen imagination is a spectacle of spectacular gorgeousness,

-tomas-
Hey, go easy on the superlatives.

-pajama-
and I wish to alleviate its bloat by sharing portions with others.

I'll have a slice of Martha Stewart's sour (and sweet) cherry pie.

Any takers will be subjected to my trademarked rants and imagery in exchange for their intelligent commentary and replies.

-tomas-
You best go ouside more.

-pajama-
Communication can occur either by email or mail, but I am in the midst of a move, so snail mail (my interaction of choice) will be impossible for a few weeks more.

-tomas-
Oh yeah, get your story straight.

-pajama-
I sincerely hope that this forum, supposedly crafted for geniuses, is ripe with them.

-tomas-
sincerely? supposedly? them?

Not to be a being of arrogant personage my astute attention can be expected regarding any material correspondents choose to share with me.

-tomas-
Some heavy-duty meds?

-pajama-
If the tier is reached where imagery is sent via snail mail, I expect that shipping and detailed opinion is included in the return letter… a moot payment in exchange for the print.

-tomas-
You best get your snail-ass settled first... as your address is in a state of slime.

-pajama-
Also be aware that I am bold and relentless, and the word “trademarked” is sincere – so don’t get any funny ideas with my prints!

-tomas-
Yer the one acting funny here.

-pajama-
I hope that didn't sound imposing,

-tomas-
Real fierce. Still talking out loud to yourself?

-pajama-
but one must guard themselves these days.

-tomas-
Keep yer fly zipped up.

If you're interested in corresponding with me just ask here. Benjamin

-tomas-

Dammit, Benny, my boss walked in just as I was reading that.

Well, at least I wasn't drinking anything.

hey there!! You can email me whenever you want to. We can just talk about anything you want to, from brilliant ideas to comments on how your coffee tasted this morning. Excuse Tomas, he's a VIETNAM WAR VETERAN !! ( 1971 ) Welcome to the forums. True genius is a lonely/troublesome place to be, so, feel free to talk to me about it if you want to. Don't go through this alone, and don't let it go unnourished.

kind regards.

The guy is a wanker. Don't be surprised if his art is something like kiddy porn.

Either that or it is supposed to be humour, but I doubt that as his post reads like a sales pitch.

Well, I am not familiar with term "wanker", Jamesh, but I suppose you are right. For someone who claims that "Not to be a being of arrogant personage my astute attention can be expected regarding any material correspondents choose to share with me" he sure hasn't replied to my post, and, visiting the Genius Forums with a grand total of one post is odd. Or maybe me claiming I was going to nail someone's heart to a wall scared him off. I was in a bad mood, ok?
