Despair

Silent tears touch my cheek
I see him, his voice echoes in the distant
So far away and yet so near
Talk to me, what's on your mind
I haven't seen you for awhile
Wait, don't go, come back
Why do you leave so quickly
When will you come back again
He disappears
Leaving me alone in my despair
Hurting as loud as though I sense he'll never come again
Tears wet my cheeks
I hear myself sobbing
And then I awake
Disappointment overwhelmes me
For he wasn't really alive
Only in my dream
I'll see you again someday my son
In heaven where God keeps his angels

How do I get to Heaven

A Sunday school teacher asked the children in her class, "If I sold my house and my car, had a big garage sale and gave all the money to the church, would I get into heaven?

"No" said the children

"If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the lawn, and kept everything neat and tidy, would I get into heaven?"

Again the children's answer was no

"Well" she continued, "then how can I get into Heaven?"

A five year old boy shouted out, "You gotta be dead"

Heavenly Father I love You

I looked up towards heaven today
and spoke these words to God
Heavenly Father forgive me my sins
God spoke to my mind with a nod

Heavenly Father please speak through me
Give me my words as I pray
Only through you Lord, your light will shine
As I express it today

Heavenly Father I love you my Lord
I ask you to bless all the world
If things are to go as Bible predicts
Our earth is meant to be hurled

I'll never deny you my Heavenly Lord
My faith is as real as my life
Successes have come from my spirit you've led
My confidence ends all the strife

Thank you for all the friends in my life
Each valuable to my heart
None of us know who God really is
But his impact we cannot depart

You're the spirit within, aren't you my Lord
The one that wills us to live
You've impressed upon all open minds
Ourselves that we must give

I Love you my Heavenly Father
I have much to be thankful for
The memories of that little girl
Who prayed and you walked through her door

I've never left you my Heavenly Lord
For you've been my strength and my might
Sometimes I stumble and fall to the ground
But you lift me and lead me to light

The Bible says you're my husband my Lord
I love the words which you speak
Thank you for humbling me to serve you
May I always in your eyes be meek

"The meek shall inherit the world" as I quote
God's words i'll spread all around
I'll be a messenger for my Lord
Who'll keep my feet on the ground

Heavenly Father I pray this day
For everyone who needs a prayer
Open their eyes Lord to all which is good
Show them that you really care

Enlightenment

Enlightenment is a transformation from an egotistical state to self-less. It is a realization that you were victim to your own ego, that this realization has freed you from your bondage of self to spiritual freedom.

Enlightenment is a premium oneness with your Lord and Heavenly Father, acknowledging the supreme light within and following it's lead to supreme happiness, and contentment of the spirit.

Enlightenment is detachment from all feelings, it is an understanding of divinity, the highest state humanity can reach spiritually free from the ego, self-love, from the pangs of anger, hostility, resentment, selfishness, greed, and hatred. It is the ultimate love that transformed your accepting spirit of the light within you that led you to Enlightenment.

Accepting this light means no denying it, it means acknowledging it's supremeness, and following it's light. It means giving up on worldly treasures if their importance to you is more significant than the supreme light within you. The supreme light within you guides you to helping others less fortunate than you are. The supreme light leads you to supreme happiness and contentment.

This light within you is the ultimate you, at your height of oneness with the God supreme.
