For all intents and purposes, we sleep for 8 hours a day (eat, shit, shower etc). What fills your time the other 16 hours?mental vagrant wrote:An area i seem to be mentally and physically defective. A diare progeny of an 'over-active mind'?

Mostly, self loathing. Other activities include the spa, puzzles and video games .

My experience is that an over-active mind can be a blessing in disquise. Surely it's better than having a dull mind. As it's from an overactive mind alone that a radical transformation of consciousness and eventual balance and true contentment of the entire organism can manifest. Good luck in finding that balance and contentment!mental vagrant wrote:An area i seem to be mentally and physically defective. A diare progeny of an 'over-active mind'?

Re: Socialisation, are others troubled?
Not to pour water on the response, but an over active mind that is not effectively focused is like an over revving engine. It can over heat and seize up.
That said being more effective / efficient then your environment allows / requires, is wasted (outside of personal satisfaction). So being effectively focused well above the norm leads to frustration.
Better to be frustrated then self loathing.
