In those rare individual cases where women approach genius they also approach masculinity.
_ Otto Weininger
The man of genius possesses, like everything else, the complete female in himself; but woman herself is only a part of the Universe, and the part can never be the whole; femaleness can never include genius. This lack of genius on the part of woman is inevitable because woman is not a monad, and cannot reflect the Universe.

What do you think? Can women be true geniuses?
All one can do is make the most of a bad situation.
There's is no absolute obstacle to a biological woman becoming a genius. She simply has to transcend the feminine, just like any man does. There is, however, arguably more work for her to do in this regard.
Biology doesn't matter in this sense. The thing is for any person, whether female or not, to strive to be conscious. Whether this is desirable depends on what your goals and value are.
A man becomes conscious by reflecting God. If you found a woman you thought was conscious "more or less" it is likely she was just reflecting some man.
Women are physically and mentally less aerodynamic than men. While air gets stuck in their curves, thoughts get stuck in their heads and thus take quite a bit longer to get to their destination.
A woman can lose weight and wear aerodynamic clothes. She cannot streamline her neurons in the same fashion. This is why women cannot be geniuses; they're whales in mud, biologically speaking.
Do you people know any women? I've been reading these forums for a bit and far from finding a genius collective I find some self important and socially impotent fools with ideas which range from the pointlessly philosophical to the drug induced deranged. Good luck to you people in life and I really mean that.
oh yes, you get remarkable females, if their minds are calm. the wild ones can be self-defeating. true genius has no gender. none at all. ive met great female geniuses and heinous ones who are prepared to sacrifice anything and anyone to achieve fame.
The apparent dichotomy of man and woman is a misconception that has generated much confusion, as it implies that male and female traits are somehow mutually exclusive and jointly exhaustive. However, male and female are not a true dichotomy, for they are not jointly exhaustive of all things, but only of some living things, and even there, there are intermediate alternatives. Neither are they mutually exclusive, save with respect to certain physiological differences; and again, there are cases where these differences are not necessarily conclusive to the individuals’ being either male or female.
Why then do we insist upon treating men and women as though they were two different species? We have overcome (hopefully) the notion that race or colour renders one individual less human than another, so why do some persist in relegating the female to a complementary but inferior role to the male. In a true dichotomy, one can make the argument that if one element of a dichotomous pair is ‘active’, then the other must be ‘passive’, or if the one is ‘rational’, then the other must be ‘irrational’, but men and women are not dichotomous, and so the characteristics of the dichotomy do not properly apply. In truth, most of the apparent differences between the male and the female (save the physiological ones) are the result of religious or cultural conditioning, and do not reflect any inherent intellectual or spiritual disparity.
I was pointed to the Wikipedia page for László Polgár recently - he seems to have collected interesting evidence for his claim that "geniuses are made, not born": on females, no less.

i think it is possible
It's not a question of saying if someone has the right to be.
A biological woman could be genius, but she would be a complete anomaly, an inversion of everything that consists a woman of. For all practical purposes, its possible only in abstract theory.
The only genious quote I can remember from a woman is something about how we men can not give birth so we spend our lives achieving to make up for the fact.
Emotions often cloud clear judgement. People may believe they are helping the world when they are merely fulfilling a personal grudge, an example being political idealists. People may claim to be eliminating a great evil when they are merely attacking something innocent for need of a punching bag to take their aggravated emotions out on.
Emotions certainly are helpful in some cases, motivating discovery and generating great works of art, one could even say that civilization could never have existed without them. These positive aspects only just make up for the negative aspects. Murder, waste, suicide, social deterioration are common products of mild emotional excess. Major emotional excess leads to things such as genocide, war, and mass dependency.
I completely understand that these are rather obvious statements.
