Let's Make GOD

Post by emma » Mon Sep 04, 2006 9:33 pm

Lets make a GOD. lets make GOD totally benign and beneficient. Lets make GOD all-knowing and all-seeing. lets think of G as a beneficient parent with wayward children. G cannot foist upon us G's norms and values because that would not be beneficient nor benign...We would rebel, feel resentment etc.

Lets also take responsibility for everything negative we expereinece from Tsunami to terrorism, from cancer to murder. Lets break down all the argumernts against the existence of GOD and stop wasting our time in useless babble.

Why? because you are the thinkers, the blessed ones and it is your purpose to teach those that cannot think that the goal of being with GOD transcends all other goals.

Who could be disadvantaged with the knowledge of such a GOD, who could be hurt or destroyed. lets break down man-made barriers and lead those who drown in materialism, depression, addiction etc to GOD.
GOD cannot lead us for to do so would seem to us like a removal of our freedom of choice, but GOD awaits us.

GOD is disappointed we spend time on useless theories like OS 012 when all we really have to do is to re-read the holy books, remove all the self-serving man-made rubbish and find what we all need, those highest values that can be passed on to all...

GOD does exist? God does not exist? that old debate misses the point. GOD will exist if we all believe in GOD. Its to our mutual benefit and when we believe GOD will exist and those that need help will be helped we will all understand that GOD has always been there ....Its just that we thought we didnt need GOD.

PROJECT GOD

Post by emma » Mon Sep 04, 2006 10:04 pm

Taking this making GOD one step further I would likeyour help in designing the perfect GOD. When we all finally agree and come up with something I think it might change the world.

The first problem is what to call this GOD, the word GOD being associated with the outmoded Judao-Christian concept of GOD
Any ideas? Personally I would use the number 1

What is this GOD of which you speak?

And I don't know what OS 112 means, either.

Project GOD

...I forgot to add that it might help if we categorise everything that is beneficial to all things as GOD-like and everything that is negative as man-made ie our responsibility. Its my view that the latter is absolutely true

Designing GOD

Post by emma » Mon Sep 04, 2006 10:13 pm

Hello Kevin, Nice website and we are in broad agreement with a lot of things.
I want us to design a GOD and give GOD all attributes which are universally benign ie benign to all things. Then I want us, one step ata a time to take responsibility for all negative things in this world and I want to see what the outcome is ie what it is we create

My start would be a name or designation . I think 1 would be a starting point as all things emanate from 1. 0 is the undiscovered and 2 is the divided.

Is the Totality benign to all things? If so, then we don't need to make-up a God.

There are thousands of made-up Gods already. I don't see the point to making-up another one.

The Totality is benign to all things but most things havd their fingers in their ears and their eyes shut. The Totality could make them listen and see but that would exacerbate the problem and create new ones. There are thousands of "idols" already but none of them are the real Totality. each has a flaw/flaws because their creators allowed a non benign, human-like attribute to creep into their existence. No the Totality wants us to redicover the Totality and its up to the few to teach the many.
I like the phrase "The Totality " but its not quite right. Things that are not benign to all things are man-made and need to be removed before we can see 1

let me just ask this obvious question so you can dispense with it right away: a wolf is not man-made, but it'll shred a rabbit apart for food -- how is this benign?

Nature is a complex structured set of variables which we can observe. A wolf does not observe Nature, it lives in it. We live in it but also outside it, we observe it , it can turn our stomach with its "cruelty" we can be above its simplistic rules if we so choose.
It is neither benign nor non-benign in the case of the wolf and the rabbit...it just ....IS
Your point is not relevant to this discussion

You can't change the rules in the middle of the game. Foul. 5 minute penalty.

Perhaps you should re-read the above. I have changed nothing. All that is benign to all things is from GOD, all that is negative is man-made and well neutral balances like Nature are simply systems for us to observe and develop from. They also keep us alive but not in the future I feel

So we agree right? All that is benign to all things belongs to GOD or is GOD and all negative things ie things that hurt, depress, damage, destroy are down to human? Good. Now how do we set about imparting these findings to all those who cannot even think enough to look after themselves properly. Surely we need to impart to them this sense of GOD .

GOD is all that is Benign

Anything that hurts, damages or destroys comes from human waywardness or careless thinking/doing

We need to ensure every person recognises these two facts to re-introduce GOD into all our lives and so eradicate all harmful things.

Now I do believe we are naturally heading this way anyway but we can only go as fast as our slowest members so surely we need to aid them in their journey. Sure there is no thanks and no glory but who cares about that!

I don't think I agree that nature is a neutral balance between man and God. I think nature is God (by nature, I mean the inherent tendency in the universe to become manifest), and God is the universe. I'm inclined to agree that negative attributes are a product of man, but the negativity is born from man's division and rejection of his larger self and thus the natural world, which man's world can never be truly extricated from.

one is not a prime number even though it has no factors (abstractions)

one is not a prime number nor a non prime (composite) number

one is its own factorial, and its own square and cube (and so on, as 1 × 1 × ... × 1 = 1)

one is most often used for representing 'true' as a Boolean datatype in computer science.

self realization is accomplished by one not he or she or this or that

I didnt say "a neutral balance between man and GOD, I said its a neutral balance, by that I mean it balances itself to sustain life. Its a mathematical model with certain rules and it preserves life. Its well worth studying as a step towards finding this Benign GOD, but it only has so many answers . The Wolf will eat the Rabbit, we feel compassion for the rabbit therefore we are more than Nature and we will develop beyond Nature no longer blown by the wind or warmed by the Sun, no longer in time-limited physical bodies walking on mud.

But to achieve this we need to find GOD, this benign Force, all of us, hence this project. Nature./The Tao is not what GOD is about . Compassion for a torn rabbit is more like it

I'm still in favour of calling this GOD "1". Lets say "The One" . As its benign in nature lets call it "The Benign One"

The "Benign One" wants us to rediscover IT. Some of us are in touch with The Benign One but many are not. We have to break many negative and incorrect thought patterns to lay down the path on which all can walk. For example

1) We can be immortal, we need not die, we can just re-develop
2) Illness and disease are caused by the way we think, old, lame and outdated thought patterns, negative thoughts, incorrect thoughts
3) Poverty, Famine/Drought need not happen
4) We control the weather, our environment our planet with our thoughts
5) We are all as one with GOD even murderers as all will be forgiven for their faulty thought processes
6) We are really all equal in the eyes of the Benign One
7) We all need, to some degree or another the guidance of the Benign One, when we are locked into our addictions, our materialism, our hatred, envy, greed etc . Some are more needy than others. Some think they walk with the benign One only to trip up and fall. They need to be picked up and helped along.

The Benign One waits for us to listen. It is benign to be benign. It is benign to believe in that which is benign. It is most benign to believe in The Benign One . Everything that is not benign to all should be discarded........

But we all know this right? Its just easier to do nothing about it or laugh about it or get bored with it or get distracted with some intellectual dead-end than it is to work out how we could get every single soul to embrace The Benign One. Wouldn't life be boring if all we had was kindness and love? Well actually no it wouldn't...........it would be just great but so much has to change.

OS12 was the Dialectical Theory of MYSTERY (/cue scary music) of Tumbleman/Bumblefish. He spent a couple of years touring the most popular philosophy/debate boards pimping his agenda of WorldConquering Dialectic and utter submission to the mysterious vestiges of everpresent MYSTERY.

It was fun for all. He was always a good debater with a good sense of humor. Him being a little crazy (and me the epitome of sanity, of course) made it all the more fun. But then he had a kid and apparently gave up his Snake Oil sales. Guy needs to get his priorities straight, IMO.

Yes and my point was that the Ultimate memes was that we all need a Benign God and that we should set about "creating" what already exists....."Creating" it in the minds of those who feel lost and trapped in this world.
I feel those with intelligence and rational argument should focus on working out the best way to convey the idea of a mutually benign force for the good of all, or all that intelligence and learning is wasted
