Thank Is for this :
Excerpt from the Demonstration of the Inconceivable State of Buddhahood sutra:
The Buddha asked, "Manjushri, would you not say you have attained saint-hood?"
Manjushri asked in turn, "World-Honored One, suppose one asks a magically produced person: 'Would you not say you have attained sainthood?' What will be his reply?"
The Buddha answered Manjushri, "One cannot speak of the attainment or non-attainment of a magically produced person."

When a bird is alive...it eats ants.
When the bird has died...ants eat it.
One tree can be made into a million matchsticks...
But only one matchstick is needed to burn a million trees.
Circumstances can change at anytime...
Wise to not devalue or hurt anyone in this life...

A wise sage has never made me feel inferior...words of wisdom helped to incourage me....

I agree Kunga, (maybe not about the rage part, although it is funny when you get angry at Dan or whoever).
Content with the lowest and nothing, soft and bending, quiet and without competition, below others if anything.

“I don't like ass kissers, flag wavers or team players. I like people who buck the system. Individualists. I often warn people: "Somewhere along the way, someone is going to tell you, 'There is no "I" in team.' What you should tell them is, 'Maybe not. But there is an "I" in independence, individuality and integrity.'" Avoid teams at all cost. Keep your circle small. Never join a group that has a name. If they say, "We're the So-and-Sos," take a walk. And if, somehow, you must join, if it's unavoidable, such as a union or a trade association, go ahead and join. But don't participate; it will be your death. And if they tell you you're not a team player, congratulate them on being observant.”

Re: Wise Quotes Collection
And of course, the interesting thing is that if it were not for the condition of ass kissing, team playing and flag waving, there would not be the condition of independence, individuality and integrity. Being mindful of dependent orgination of the opposites, the cause of suffering in the human mind, we are able to circumvent its arousal and rest in peace in neither (the nondual) view.Kunga wrote:“I don't like ass kissers, flag wavers or team players. But, even as you try to circumvent dualistic concepts to rest in non-duality[peace], you can thank duality for providing or giving birth to non-duality !!!!
And as you rest in peace in grasping at neither dualistic/non-dualitsic concepts....you can thank violence, for all the peace you're experiencing !
Now I'm thinking about not thinking......time to stare...
The mind desires this,
And grieves for that.
It embraces one thing,
And spurns another.
Now it feels anger,
Now happiness.
In this way you are bound.
But when the mind desires nothing
And grieves for nothing,
When it is without joy or anger
And, grasping nothing,
Turns nothing away. . .
Then you are free.
When the mind is attracted
To anything it senses,
You are bound.
When there is no attraction,
You are free.
Where there is no I,
You are free.
Where there is I,
You are bound.
Consider this.
It is easy.
Embrace nothing,
Turn nothing away.
~ Ashtavakra Gita (8.1-4)

Your future unfolds right before your eyes. All that's lacking is comprehension, but that will dawn, most likely after a prolonged bout of denial.

And Jesus said unto them, "And whom do you say that I am?"
They replied, "You are the eschatological manifestation of the ground of our being, the ontological foundation of the context of our very selfhood revealed."
And Jesus replied, "What?"
- anon.

Re: Wise Quotes Collection
Psychological guessing is foolish, what could that imply? Too much identification with uncontrolled thinking. So now you are a seer. Let me deny for you. I compete with and prove myself to nobody, I am not such a fool to think myself wise. I hold zero concepts in my mind and understand only one thing. There is a reply because I can see, not because motive exists(It doesn't).

When the time comes and you can't see the outcome remember that everything will be fine, have patience to see it through and be stronger for it.

"Can't see the outcome"? Of what? I guess that time has come as I can't see the outcome of anything in the future.

Kunga did you know almost the exact same quote as above was stated by Zhuangzi, Lao Tzu, Socrates, and many other of the people called 'sages'. I once made a comment with six or so of them next to each other, uncanny :b

Kunga Din, thinking of you this morning and recalling your interest in Crazy Wisdom led to discovery of this movie ... currently watching. You may like it.
You do know that Kunga Din is a term of endearment, not belittlement.

DESIDERATA
Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

One does not practice Zen to become a Buddha; one practices it because one is a Buddha from the beginning—and this “original realization” is the starting point of the Zen life.

Well, this is rather humorous and true; whether wise I know not.

On that note, it may be madness to believe your own thought. The more interesting question is just whether you are right, to what degree and how much you are willing to enforce it through tragedy and failure and the possibility that you are not right.
