Who said anything about fairness?
That doesn't seem very fair, Dan. What unknown writes is no more circular and repetitive than anyone else here, and he certainly doesn't spam or troll. I'd rather see sevens banned, he's a bore. Put simply, Unknown is a complete moron. I do consider his meaningless gibberish to be a form of trollin...

This....is Big Brother..... Unknown, if this is to be your only contribution to the Forum, and it must be by your own "logic" then I suggest you go away. If we haven't gotten the message by now it should be obvious that we never will. I intend to show zero tolerance for your brand of idioc...

If we call it "terrorism"......
As I see it, terrorism is illegal by definition. If we call an act "terrorism" this automatically follows. Naturally it's always relative - one man's (or State's) terror is another man's justifiable action. I also don't see any moral issue. Terrorism is immoral to those who are subject to ...

Re: Why are Otto Weininger so important for you guys?
Doesn't Kevin Solway's own explanation answer that question adequately?: If Otto Weininger continues to inspire genius through what he has left us then I will consider half my work already done. His book Sex and Character is one of the few masterpieces of modern times. In it, Weininger overflows wit...

Board Conduct and Usage
Genius Forum has very few rules. We do, however, strive to maintain a high level of rationality. Genius does not necessarily discourage or denounce ideas and beliefs, only the false reasoning that underpins them. This is the essence of what serious philosophical inquiry ought be. Overt attempts at s...

<t>Yes, A=A and the way it is explained are more or less linguistic conveniences. One can merely say "A" if one comprehends the meaning of it. A=A is not a "truth" because, as you say, it is not an operation of any kind. The duality of true/false does not apply to it - though one must often speak in...

Re: Reality
So, where's the flaw, exactly? Any given thing is either demarcated by what it is not - which is what is meant by it existing in relation to other things - or it is the Totality.
I'd love to see you offer a logically sound alternative to that.
