Orenholt, As Diebert recommended, I think you should cut back on the posts, and spend more time thinking. But for both of us to have recommended this, doesn't bode well. The newbie thing wears off on us all. Diebert and Kelly know this first hand. They blabbered (thought) on when they first arrived...

Re: "Empirical Disproof"
Is this guy serious? If there is a single empirical proof for the theory of evolution that refutes at the same time just one claim in the so-held infallible Bible (which the Kuran attests is the work and title of the same god), then the Abrahamic god has indeed been "empirically disproven"...

Re: the universe doesnt have to be infinite
Sorry Tomas, it's obscured thinking on each and every account. Don't encourage it further! A. It's not impossible for the mind to be relative to the mind. Actually that's all it does. That's what makes it go "mind": self-reflection! How would the mind be relative to anything else when all...

Re: the universe doesnt have to be infinite
It takes physics to think, it is impossible to redirect the mind from the mind. It is impossible for the mind to be relative to the mind. Your just using words to redirect the outcome of a losing argument. Losing the argument creates your delusion to throw in a false claim. Your false claim however...

When is it Diebert asked me that? You have some issues Tomas, something like a grudge or anger, not really sure. It is very clear tho seeing as you are only posting to taunt me, the beneath you guy. It's neither. Taunt? Really, you are a young pup. You still haven't responded to Diebert's inquiry as to whether you've been here befo...

Nineteen and still playing games thought up by someone else. Internal question: Are you playing games thought up by someone else? Great constructive enquiry for any stage of life. Thanks Thomas. There is no h in my name. BTW - It is 'inquiry' not enquiry. You've been reading too many rags at the ch...

Da games. What do you think? Some of the most interesting manifestations you'll find, fun and easy to do from home with a pc... I'm only mentioning it because I was playing some hectic online medieval warfare yesterday. You gotta understand Dennis. You are conversing with a cradle to grave war-game...

Read your three questions again. The thread title is "To what degree can we weed out our delusions on reality?". I don't feel that you are attempting to weed out your delusions. You are attempting to deny your delusions on reality by sending questions back to answers. That's to hide reali...

The Truth is not obvious, Universal Consciousness is only understood and realized by those that have realized it....otherwise it's not possible to know this Truth....one would only hear it from others and assume it must be true....they belive it true, without KNOWING (experiencing). Re: To what degree can we weed out our delusions on reality?
I tend to think we have control of what goes on in our individual head. We, (although ONE entity), are responsible for our actions, or at least we should take responsibility for our actions. We also have this material body , that needs to be controlled. Although it pretty much functions on it's own...

You completely miss the point Tomas. What happened didn't happen. The Story about what happened happened. You know it would sure be great if you'd write a normal post every now and then. Hiding behind your prose doesn't get through thick sculls every single time. Huh? Put a few paragraphs down ever...

Tomas, You are playing the Victim. Get off the pity pot. It's just a Story. A conceptual overlay of a situation you got 'swept up' in. You ran with the herd. It's empty and meaningless that it's empty and meaningless. Just like your recent attachment with the electric dog collar. Are you within the...

You have to work within context, Tomas. It is either Franciscan or Jesuit (or totally secular). The colegio is adored and valued by the kid. The education is mostly secular with an emphasis on 'values'. The child was taken out of public school where the influences were not good and were starting to...

Haha, he's a fiction writer Tomas, try to be more skeptical. These are all literary devices generally in his case. Didn't he say that somewhere already? He allows himself to make up things but you're still too much a believer in the goodness of the ones just writing good. Anyway, are you unhappy To...

My dear Tomas! I am 'different' because I see it. I am talking about it. That is a big difference. I guess I would call it a first step. It doesn't mean that we are not all in a difficult position. But what does it matter? When you are as creative as the Jester is, the fun to be had is more than enough to satisfy himself. He's done well in the financial field of life so he has extra time to explore some meanings he holds dear besides the streets and avenues he finds himself on. The alley-ways...

Nearly every person if not every person who I witness here preaching neo-Buddhist doctrines seems to me to be cultivating forms of conceptual derangement. After examining this, experiencing this in these people for some years now, I can find no redeeming feature in it! I see unstable, unbalanced, u...
