Bulls are colorblind. They are just irritated by the action of waving. Red or not is unimportant.

Re: The Nature of Evil

To be one with everything, to live in accordance with Nature, is perfect order, absolute goodness. All things are one with nature, so all things are in perfect order according to your definition of "perfect order", and hence absolutely good. To truly live in accordance with Nature -which ...

Re: The Nature of Evil

The perfectly logical man is therefore the perfectly good man, who is likely to be considered as evil by the world. If so: Be evil, as your heavenly father is evil. But given your definition of "good" being that which is perfect, isn't the perfectly illogical man also the perfectly good m...

Re: The Nature of Evil

What is good? That which is perfect. What is evil? That which is imperfect. Evil is not the opposite of good, as imperfection is not the opposite of perfection. The end of all imperfections is perfection. "Be perfect, as your heavenly father is perfect!" - Jesus Christ. What is done by Nat...

I too have that impression about him, though the affair with Rosalind seems to have left me rather doubtful. I would be interested to hear from you what this affair was about, and why it disturbs you. This is the official information: http://www.theosophy.com/theos-talk/200806/tt00112.html Annie Be...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Could be wrong but it seems you're trying to be clever or cute here, as do so terribly many non-understanding K-ites, LS. And if so very likely to your own detriment. You might wish to examine Krishnamurti's views on cleverness, the clever-minded. That is a valid criticism. My youth might have been...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Krishnamurti said the greatest of all gifts is "impersonal love". Meaning having true and abiding love for all human beings. "Love is not sensation... Love is neither personal nor impersonal; love is a state of being in which sensation as thought is wholly absent." - J. Krishnam...

Re: Aesthetic, Ethical & Religious

"Ariadne, ich liebe Dich. Dionysos." That's well set-out. You write very well for a young Vietnamese bloke. Your English is impeccable. My genius would not be satisfied with anything less than perfection.:)) I started learning English by myself 3 years ago, by the time I renounced Buddhism...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

"If while you are young you don't feel love, if you don't look with love at people, at animals, at flowers, when you grow up you will find that your life is empty; you will be very lonely, and the dark shadows of fear will follow you always." "Only a mind and a heart that are full of...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Thank you, Michael, that is a lot of useful information you offered. I will check out the biographies. Following is one of Osho's criticisms of Krishnamurti which I'm in agreement with. Though Osho was likewise himself a failure in finding the right approach in order to "prepare people for a ne...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Rather have you gone far away from me, my beloved son; but your day draws to a close. The good shepherd gathers his stray sheep ere night falls. For I am the Alpha and the Omega and though heaven and earth shall pass away, yet shall my words never pass away. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Jesus Ch...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

I studied a great deal of J. Krishnamurti. I'll check out your group. :) I ventured 3000 miles on a considerably limited income to Ojai, CA in 1985 to see and hear J. Krishnamurti speak there in the Oak Grove for his last time. In '91 & '92 I ventured there again and lived in Ojai for 13 months...

Re: Aesthetic, Ethical & Religious

My thought on it corresponding with Buddhist stages to enlightenment.
Aesthetic stage: Grand delusions with grand ego
Ethical stage: Starting to renounce delusions. Subtle delusions with subtle ego.
Religious stage: All delusions and egotism renounced.
Odious, but you see the point.

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Liberty Sea Sadly, there was not enough bullshit in your post to induce the urge to disagree. Those are the sorts of truths one learns while climbing up the mountain. My post was not anything special. As I said, it is just fundamental understanding. I came here to learn and mock my own folly, so, i...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Hi, Genius forum. I am a 20 years old Vietnamese who considers himself to have understood the fundamental logical Truth and is practicing it. I will elaborate my comprehension of Truth, which I arrived at through logical deduction with the help of wise men in the past, and stated briefly in my previ...

Re: Intuition and the Wordless Nerve

Nothing possesses real selfhood as separated entities. Only the All possesses selfhood.
The become enlightened is to forsake the delusion of false selfhood, and to become one with the All, with That which is, and therefore possess real selfhood.
