Men and women, who have the wealth and freedom to ensure their own health, security and rights, mostly turn a blind-eye to the horrendous state of affairs that millions of women endure daily. Around the world, women continue to die from preventable diseases, starvation, poverty, over work, complica...

I agree that native man lived more wisely than modern man. Aye. But did he live that much different from the animals? Animals live in a sustainable way too, they dont overpopulate, they don't become addicted to drugs, kill themselves, tortue each other, etc. I think he did, just differently enough....

I can relate, Rory. I've known people, too (as well as my mother), that have schizophrenia. One guy developed it after he unknowingly tried LSD. The masculine-feminine is always two-fold: physically and psychologically; genetically and mentally. For example, we can observe the pure genetic female in...

How is was a feminine thing? Because feminine greed is a feminine thing, and greed causes war. Look at America: females have the vote, the majority of the population, seven times the shelf space in stores, make up the largest consumer "minority," have the majority of the personal wealth, ...

I don't think so. I think our current society is patriarchal. All the big decisions are made by men. Take the space program for example. It costs trillions of dollars that could otherwise be spent on helping women, by paying for childcare, or for Phd's in nail manicuring or handbag fashion design. ...

That's a version? Every quantity made of matter (whatever that may be) is a duck? Duckman: What is matter? When he can tell me what that is, then I'll buy his book... He's using the standard, scientific definition of matter... . What is matter? Science can't answer that. It can only name it. Why no...

That would be true for people from any era. Each generation has to adapt to the changing circumstances of their environment. The technology most useful a couple of hundred years ago was the plough – now it is the computer. In a few hundred years from now it could once again be the plough - or per...

Elizabeth, what does humour have to do with happiness? Most people who know me mention my "great sense of humour," and they also mention I'm "unhappy." Which I am---"a-happy," or "non-happy," that is; I'm neither happy nor unhappy. They're related and interdep...

I think patriachy dominates over matriarchy if we consider that only conscious desire for control is meaningful. In a small group of men (or in most other social mammals), a base heirarchy is always established, of course---in the natural world, most often that heirarch is the strongest, and his co...

What an excellent article. I knew there was something to what you have been trying to say for all this time. :) . Can you sum it up for me? Seriously. I just cannot understand the point of it. It really seemed like gibberish. It is gibberish---it requires only belief. Some belief in numerology woul...

What you write here is pretty hard to argue against. Alrighty. (I had thought there'd be more of a debate here with this, but it appears that most people see it the same way.) Patriarchy is definitely an illusion, one created by women as further means of controlling men. Do you think this control o...

Yes, but a significantly less conscious science. They took what they could get, and made the most of only what was allotted naturally. They exhibited more conciousness than the animals, but overall, quite unconscious in contrast to the awareness that exists today. Native man understood his world pe...

Matriarchy & Patriarchy

Hey, folks... I've been trying to comprehend both "matriarchy" and "patriarchy"---both theoretically and in practice---for around a year now, and I'd written something a little while ago on some (admittedly full of vim; and bold) thoughts I'd had on these two subjects. I'm still ...

Well, you have to consider then many of the greatest wise men of history were often of noble birth, or had access to knowledge. These nomadic tribes didnt know they were wise, they were just subordinating themselves to nature because they had no choice to, and by doing so, they were unintentionally...

I wonder why it's (only) either one or the other, aside from the "good" and "bad" and the source for each of these. I mean, according to their faith, once you're dead, you inevitably arrive at one of two places (heaven or hell). Obviously we get judged before being to hell, accor...

The establishment of agriculture might have been our worst mistake. Indeed. But great mistakes can lead to great enlightenment. Hmm. I'd hardly consider the current dismal state of the globe as something resembling "enlightenment." Those nomadic tribes were far more enlightened than moder...
