Re: Priorities

Of course you can use reverse examples of scarcity to imply what i said is wrong, eg. we could say, we could reduce the world food shortage by killing off 90% of the population, but that's just twisting it around. in the context of your thread question, i described a reduction of scarcity that benef...

Re: Prove I don't exist.

mikiel, Its just a nonsense circular argument I used to prove a point(pretty obvious one at that, especially with the punch line about GOD lol), which is any definition beyond,Cogito, ergo sum (i think therefore i am), goes nowhere when discussing self existence. Occam's razor - sweet and simple thi...

Re: Thoughts of Suicide

@jacob expanding on recreational drugs and depression theory of self medication Some mental illness sufferers attempt to correct their illnesses by use of certain drugs. Depression, for example, is notorious for being a trigger of alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, or other mind-altering drug use. While th...

Re: Priorities

We are entering the age of enormous problems and challenges, along with solutions to those problems. If you had to choose in order of importance, five intellectual achievements or societal reforms that humanity should be collectively moving towards, what would they be, and justify your reasoning. Ah there ya go Tomas finally showing me you have some reasoning skills beyond vague mumbles and innudo, i know your first hand knowledge on the subject gives you a certain wisdom and authority over it, but its all lost if you don't share your insights with others, bugging you was my way of trying to...

Re: Priorities

Zen hmmm here i am reinventing the wheel... when i thought i was just stating whats self evident to myself. As for what you said, leisure allows for the opportunity to pursue wisdom which is a choice like choosing to be a sloth, there is only so much time anyone has available to do things, the more ...

Re: Was Jesus Not Enlightened ?

I'm really not trying to nit pick, but his question was "Was Jesus Not Enlightened ?" the AA was a faulty statement after the fact. Also while I understand what your saying, faulty use of language and concepts often results in mind boggling arguments between 2 or more parties who are essen...

Re: Are Whites inferior To Jews?

I agree with what you stated, just to clarify I'm not singling out the Jewish people as being the only one's being secretive, everyone is secretive to some degree, and while as you stated so many of these "tricks" are now common knowledge, this sharing of knowledge is only a recent phenome...

Re: Priorities

The wise have always been those, whose needs are few.
Wisdom is achieved through the leisure pursuit of knowledge.
The more needs you have and the more time you spend in pursuit of those needs, the less time you have to pursue wisdom.

Re: Was Jesus Not Enlightened ?

Awareness of the Absolute is not Absolute Awareness both are very different concepts. I cannot mind read a person's intended definition when misusing words in the English language, while what you say makes sense once Awareness of the Absolute as defined is applied to the definition (one facet at any...

Re: Was Jesus Not Enlightened ?

There's another word that's a synonym for the phrase "Absolute awareness" its Omniscience, I think I'll stick to a definition of "Enlightened" that applies in a human context. And please don't say Jesus was god.... you can but it would just be a belief and on the scales of knowle...

Re: Are Whites inferior To Jews?

Remo: even if what you say is true, it doesn't sound like a conspiracy to me. Parents teach their children what life skills they can. If rich parents have "no intention" of teaching others their particular life lessons, it's perfectly reasonable. Why should the rich be required to raise y...

Superfluidity from Quantum hydrodynamics is macroscopic, i would argue also that since Newtonian physics break down at the subatomic scale and at the universal scale, its not rock solid. As for the gravitational constant here's an interesting article about it http://www.physorg.com/news113031879.htm...

You both bring up great points, its clear the wheels are turning, and there's a lot of thought that's going into this, i would ask you to pause, and try something, go to google earth and play with it for just 30 minutes, flip it all over the place, look at it from every angle, visualize the coastlin...
