Re: Enlightenment and Rationality
Enlightenment is not being clouded by nonsense, it's seeing the truth, what is really important and more importantly, what isn't. To be enlightened is to transcend your emotional needs, which are the source of all your misery and also most of your ignorance (not just you, most people, including me) ...

You aren't.
Actually, you aren't, I am though and so is he.

Re: Can someone confirm my understanding the QRS philosophy?
There doesn't seem to be much discussion of these areas on this board, are there some old threads where the topics of what can be known is discussed, as well as the idea of certain truths being able to be known by us - I think the concept of a real truth about existence is phenominal, especialy math...

You are whatever I think you are. Until you show some logic or reasoning, i should ignore you since you're just part of my subjective reality.

Re: Should justified anger be acknowledged or ignored?
I think any human that attaches themselves to an external thing and is reliant on that thing or person for their happiness is going to get hurt - the human need for security in someone else, the need to reply on someone else is as much in men as it is with women. We're raised to believe happiness co...

Re: Can someone confirm my understanding the QRS philosophy?
Not at all. I'm relatively new to philosophy and so I don't know the various types too well. Kant was one of the first books I read since I found the subject matter so intriguing - I guess what's called Metaphysics, which is essentially what Genius Forum is about, correct? It just strikes me that th...

Re: Actualizing Truth
What does it mean to search for the Truth? What is Truth? You mean a deeper or more accurate understanding of true reality? Is this not what is referred to as enlightenment, which is a realisation and acceptance that no thing has actual meaning and that to be enlightened is to just exist, to just be...

Re: Can someone confirm my understanding the QRS philosophy?
Thanks for your reply and your questions. I'm not sure I understand your first question regarding "my words" being different to the form "knowing true reality"? I mean that my current view of reality is a construction of my mind and so I can only perceive "things", which are not the same as Reality,...

Re: Define Good
I think the term "good" can mean a few different things depending on the use. 1) If used to descibe the morality of something, then it's just a subjective judgement based on your particular ethical and moral beliefs - I think all humans tend to have a similar idea of what it means for something or s...

Can someone confirm my understanding the QRS philosophy?
Hey there, I 'v browsed these forums for a while and want to confirm whether I have a grasp on the underlying reasoning. I'm talking only about the foundation of "A=A" and the implications of this for our understanding on the nature of reality. So, I understand that "A=A" is a logical truth, and is ...
